Job Description
Vista Prairie Communities at Keelson Harbour is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant for day shift. The Resident Assistant will assist residents with daily activities, provide personal care, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Requirements
- Report all accidents and incidents
- Assist residents with daily dental and mouth care, dressing/undressing, and hair care
- Change all soiled linens and wash immediately
- Assist with bowel and bladder functions
- Assist residents with preparing for medical tests and doctor appointments
- Follow established policies and procedures concerning exposure to blood/body fluids
- Assist in transporting residents to/from appointments, activities, and social programs
- Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents
- Check residents routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met
