Admissions RN

VITAS is seeking a compassionate and skilled Admissions RN to guide patients and families through the hospice transition, offering a patient-centered and fulfilling work environment. The role involves conducting assessments, providing emotional support, and coordinating the admission process with physicians and case managers. VITAS is dedicated to redefining end-of-life care and a strong advocate for quality and compassion.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health, or case management setting (preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Active listener
• Confident in guiding others and addressing concerns with empathy
• Reliable with strong follow-through
• Patient-centered advocate
