Admissions RN

VITAS Hospice Admissions Nurses provide compassionate support to patients and families navigating end-of-life transitions. This role bridges the gap between hospital/community care and hospice, guiding patients and families towards a comfortable and dignity-focused end-of-life experience. VITAS is redefining what's possible in hospice care with a focus on holistic and integrated care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health, or case management (preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Active listener who builds trust and rapport
• Reliable professional with strong follow-through and autonomy
• Patient-centered advocate committed to dignity and comfort
