Admissions RN

VITAS Hospice is seeking a compassionate Admissions RN to guide patients and families through the transition to hospice. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, educating patients and families, and coordinating the admission process. VITAS is committed to redefining what’s possible in end-of-life care, focusing on human connection and providing support during vulnerable moments.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice, palliative, ER, ICU, home health or case management preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Active listener who builds trust and rapport
• Reliable professional with strong follow-through and autonomy
• Patient-centered advocate committed to dignity and comfort
