Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

The VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care to hospice patients, augmenting care given by family members or caregivers. The role involves performing activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and assisting with ambulation and treatments as ordered by the physician. Training is required.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Documentation of 75 hours of training
• State Allowable Training/Certification
• Ability to travel
