Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care provided by family or other caregivers. HHA duties include bathing, feeding, ambulating, assisting with treatments, and documenting patient care. The HHA role is assigned to written assignments, with flexibility in work schedule offered.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• 75 hours of training documentation (42 CFR 484.36)
• Completed Competency Evaluation program (42 CFR 484.36)
• Valid state/local certification as CNA, HHA, HA
