Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care to hospice patients, assisting with hygiene, meals, ambulation, and treating ordered by physicians. This role requires performance of assigned tasks and adherence to safety guidelines, including infection control and maintaining a patient’s comfort. The position is a full-time, non-exempt position with VITAS Healthcare, a leading provider of end-of-life care.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 75 hours of training (42 C.F.R. Section 484.36)
• Competency Evaluation completed
• State Allowed Training/Certification
