Home Health Aide (HHA)

VITAS Home Health Aides (HHA) provide personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care provided by family and other caregivers. They perform tasks like assisting with hygiene, meals, ambulation, treatments, and monitoring patient conditions. The role requires a commitment to following written assignments and participating in training programs.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Meet personnel qualifications of a Home Health Aide as specified in 42 C.F.R. Section 484.4 and Section 484.36.
• Valid Driver’s License (and vehicle) required.
• Access to reliable transportation to attend training and work.
