Job Description
The VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care from family members or caregivers. This role involves performing various tasks such as hygiene assistance, meal preparation, ambulation, assisting with treatments, and maintaining a safe environment. The position is full-time and requires adherence to specific guidelines.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- 75 hours of training as specified in 42 C.F.R. Sections 484.36 and 484.36(a)(1).
- Successfully completed a Competency Evaluation program.
- Valid state of residence
