Job Description
VITAS Home Health Aides (HHA) provide personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting the care given by family members. HHA assignments may involve performing hygiene, meal preparation, ambulation assistance, treatments, and emotional support. The role requires accurate documentation and adherence to VITAS’ policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- 75 hours of training completed.
- Valid state certificate and certificate of completion
- Ability to travel.
- Strong communication skills.
