Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN will provide direct skilled bedside nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program, following the Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include administering treatments and medications, assessing patient needs, providing support, and maintaining a clean environment. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is crucial for optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience (LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit)
