Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN is responsible for administering nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program setting, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act. They perform direct bedside nursing care, evaluate patient needs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Documentation is crucial, and the role requires a commitment to professional growth.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of VITAS.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year as an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year as an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit.
