Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will administer nursing care to terminally ill patients at VITAS, working under the guidance of a registered nurse. This involves providing direct bedside nursing care, assessing patient needs, and contributing to interdisciplinary care plans. The role emphasizes patient and family participation in their care.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation to be used for work
• Must have and maintain liability insurance and license
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
