Job Description
VITAS® Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct skilled bedside nursing care to terminally ill patients. The LPN will administer nursing care according to the plan of care, evaluate patient needs, and monitor patient’s responses to treatments. They will also maintain a clean and safe environment and assist the interdisciplinary team in providing comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain transportation
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience
- At least one year of experience as an LPN/LVN in a hospital (adult medical surgical unit)
