Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will administer nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program. The LPN will provide direct skilled bedside nursing care, evaluate patient needs, perform treatments and medications, and maintain a safe environment. This role involves collaborative teamwork and contributing to a people-focused healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year of which is an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit.
