Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients at VITAS, ensuring compliance with the Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessment of patient needs, and collaboration with a team to deliver optimal care. The role requires documentation, adherence to protocols, and a commitment to patient well-being.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year of LPN/LVN experience in a hospital setting
- Eligible for Transportation, Liability Insurance and a Driver's License
