Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing direct skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients. They assess patient needs, administer treatments and medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe environment and documenting patient care effectively.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation.
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience.
