Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) administers nursing care to terminally ill patients at VITAS, ensuring safe and effective care. This role involves providing direct care, evaluating patient needs, managing treatment plans, documenting in patient records, and assisting in interdisciplinary care. The position requires a commitment to collaboration and growth within a people-focused organization.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year in an adult medical surgical unit.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends or rotating shifts.
