Job Description
VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to administer nursing care to terminally ill patients in a skilled nursing environment. This role involves providing direct bedside care, evaluating patient needs, documenting in clinical notes, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The position requires collaboration with a Registered Nurse and adheres to nursing standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, with at least one year in a hospital setting (adult medical surgical unit)
- Transportation to work (liability insurance and license)
- Working on flexible schedule (weekdays/rotating shifts)
