The LPN/LVN is responsible for administering nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and following established care plans. This role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Must have and maintain transportation
- Must have a valid license to practice nursing
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year in an LPN/LVN role in a hospital (adult medical surgical unit)
- Physical stamina required for lifting and transfering patients
- Must follow Nursing P.A. and supervise by a Registered Nurse
