Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN will administer nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program, ensuring adherence to the Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include direct patient care, evaluating patient needs, managing medication, and documenting findings. The role emphasizes collaboration with the team and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year as an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit.
