Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive care for hospice patients and families facing terminal illness and bereavement, coordinating care, assessing patient and family needs, and implementing the interdisciplinary plan of care. The RN is responsible for case management, supervision of nursing tasks, and providing patient education. They report any request to practice outside the scope of their license and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation with sufficient driver and passenger insurance
• Telephone available (cellular or land line)
• 2+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health
• Must be currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of the VITAS program
