Job Description
Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas is seeking a Residential Counselor to provide direct services to clients, promote community integration, and develop individual rehabilitation plans. The Residential Counselor will work in a residential setting, providing supervision, health teaching, and prevention of communicable diseases.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least two years of experience working in a mental health residential setting and/or social service related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
- Bilingual in any language (a plus)
