Job Description
Reporting to the group homes' Residential Coordinator, the Residential Counselor provides direct services to clients to promote independent living skills, crisis services, and basic health teaching. The Residential Counselor assesses clients' rehabilitation needs, develops individual rehabilitation plans, and monitors client progress. They also provide basic supervision, coordinate activities for community integration, and document service delivery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years of experience working in a mental health residential setting or social service related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
