Housing Specialist

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is an anti-poverty organization working to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050. We are seeking a Housing Specialist to assure housing readiness of clients by implementing trainings and developing permanent housing options.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits
• 2 years of related experience in housing placement services
• Knowledge of federal guidelines for public and private low-income housing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Clean and valid driver’s license
