Housing Specialist

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is seeking a Housing Specialist to implement trainings and develop permanent housing options for clients. The Housing Specialist will work at the Schwartz Assessment Shelter, a 24/7 shelter for men.

Requirements

• Associates degree or 60 college credits courses in Human Services field
• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of related experience in housing placement services
• Knowledge of federal guidelines for public and private low-income housing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Clean and valid driver’s license a plus
