Family Help Youth Worker - Ref: CH10925

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Youth Worker to join our multidisciplinary team to empower, understand and support adolescents and their families at times of need. The team adopts a holistic and coordinated approach when working with parents, the young person and the system that surrounds the family. The role involves working with children and young people with a varied range of needs and vulnerabilities, providing informal education, prevention, and early intervention opportunities, and advocating on behalf of the young people. The successful candidate will have substantial experience of working with children and young people, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to practice development and continued professional development.

Requirements

• Ability to work in partnership with children, young people, and families in an open, honest, and transparent way
• Capacity to work in a positive and supportive team environment, promoting collaboration and sharing knowledge and expertise
• Ability to undertake some evening and occasional weekend work to meet the needs of communities, children, and young people
