Scrum Master

Wärtsilä is a world leader in marine technology, and we are seeking an Agile Coach to help our Digital Product Development organization improve its product development capabilities. As a Scrum Master, you will coach teams and stakeholders to adopt the LeSS framework and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a multi-team or large product development environment
• Strong background in coaching teams to reduce technical debt while achieving high value delivery
• Deep understanding of the Scrum Guide and the LeSS Principles
• Ability and interest in challenging the status quo, facilitate change, and foster systemic improvement
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent facilitation skills
• Relevant Scrum Master education and certifications (e.g. PSM II/III, LeSS Practitioner or Coach certification)
• Ability to work co-located in Helsinki minimum 2-3 days a week
• Hands-on experience in teaching software development practices (e.g. pair programming, test driven development, refactoring) is a strong plus
• Proficiency in English, Finnish is a plus
