Service Engineer

Wärtsilä is an innovative technology company seeking a Service Engineer to manage site work, ensure site safety, and perform commissioning, overhauls, and repairs on 4-stroke general engines.

Requirements

• Manage site work with team members, including subcontractors, and report through the service work report.
• Ensure site safety conditions are met by team members and subcontractors in accordance with Wartsila and local regulations.
• Perform commissioning, overhauls, and repairs on 4-stroke general engines.
• Occasionally, manage and lead the assigned team and related activities during work execution.
• Communicate with the back office for root cause analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting during site work.
• Create daily work reports and update the back office on site conditions.
• Communicate with customers about technical and commercial requirements during site work.
