Job Description
The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care to patients at Barnes-Jewish Hospital emergency department, as well as at community sites, including Barnes West County and Missouri Baptist Emergency Departments.
Requirements
- Provides direct patient care to include obtaining patient history and examining patients
- Develops diagnostic plan and interprets results
- Provides treatment for acute and chronic disease conditions
- Develops and implements patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with patients, consultants, nurses, ancillary care providers and others as appropriate to the patient's condition
- Collaborates with emergency physicians as needed for complex or high acuity patients
