Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NA or NP)

Weiser Memorial Hospital is hiring an advanced practice provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) for our Family Medical Center. The provider will work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide quality medical evaluation and treatment to patients of all ages. The role involves working with other medical professionals, delegating tasks, and engaging in problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Requirements

• Graduation from a school with current licensure from Idaho to practice as a Physician Assistant OR a Nurse Practitioner
• Current Federal DEA and Idaho Controlled Substance License.
• Current BLS. ACLS, PALS certifications within one year of hire.
• Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and the unit(s) area(s) or assignment.
• Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.
• Ability and willingness to work with patients' growth and development needs particularly related to the age of patients in the unit(s) area(s) of assignment.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in family medicine and/or graduate of Residency Program.
• Bilingual a plus, but not required.
