Relief Youth Worker

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Relief Youth Worker who demonstrates our values of compassion, accountability, responsiveness and empowerment; to our clients, families and each other. The Relief Youth Worker will be scheduled to work on an on-call basis, covering varying shifts throughout the week, with hours varying based on need.

Requirements

• Establish a positive rapport with youth by being friendly, non-judgmental, non-intrusive, and approachable.
• Oversee the 19-unit program and residents, handling issues that may arise.
• Engage youth in a meaningful way providing counseling, information, support and advocacy.
• Complete statistics, client files, daily log, and other administrative documentation, as required.
• Complete household cleaning responsibilities as required.
• Provide crisis management support when necessary.
