As a Learning Experience Designer at WGU, you will shape how employees learn complex systems, tools, and processes through high-quality, practical learning experiences. You will design and deliver engaging, outcome-focused learning experiences for corporate and technical training initiatives, working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to research learner needs and translate complex systems and processes into clear, actionable learning.
Requirements
- Experience applying instructional and learning experience design strategies such as ADDIE, and SAM, informed by learning science and learner needs.
- Experience designing and implementing learning experiences or eLearning from ideation through launch and analysis
- Understanding of adult learners and the ability to design for both cognitive and non-cognitive learning outcomes
- Basic to intermediate project management skills with hands-on ownership of timelines, scope, and quality in an agile environment
- Experience with change management and change enablement in a corporate or technical setting
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with design and authoring tools such as Illustrator, Articulate Rise, Storyline, Vyond, and using ServiceNow, some HTML to create learning assets
