Job Description
The Westfield Area YMCA is hiring part-time Water Exercise Instructors to teach classes in the mornings and evenings. Instructors will ensure safe class conduct, understanding class format, and encouraging participants in a safe exercise manner. Compensation is commensurate with certifications and experience.
Requirements
- First Aid and BLS certifications (for healthcare providers)
- Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) certification or equivalent
- Ability to handle emergencies and administer CPR and First Aid effectively
- Physical and mental ability to respond to emergencies
- Ability to maintain a safe pool environment
