Interconnection Manager, Senior

We're seeking an Interconnection Manager, Sr. to support our client's mission to provide clean energy solutions. The successful candidate will oversee the full life cycle of development and construction of projects, collaborating with internal and external entities to manage generator interconnections and provide essential support to projects.

Requirements

• Power systems background with a deep understanding of transmission planning and NERC reliability standards
• Experience with steady-state thermal/voltage, short-circuit, transient stability using industry analytical tools such as PSS/E, PSLF, PowerGEM TARA, TSAT, and ASPEN
• Experience with the planning processes within RTOs/ISOs and Transmission Providers, especially relating to baseline reliability planning and generator interconnection studies
• Understanding of transmission policy and regulatory issues related to generator interconnection
• Demonstrated experience and a working relationship with ISOs MISO and/or SPP, are essential. This experience should be in a role related to generator or load interconnection agreements.
• Knowledge of utility and ISO interconnection study methodology, criteria, and business practices is necessary. Furthermore, we require transmission planning with a focus on grid reliability.
