Job Description
Join Whatnot, the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, as an Engineering Manager to lead software projects, define seller cuts, and hire engineers across consumer applications and backend systems.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager or related occupation
- Experience with operating as a technical leader in large distributed systems and complex user interfaces across web and mobile platforms
- Experience with building user experiences and system backend design and directing teams to build in this manner
- Experience with recruiting, mentoring, retaining, and measuring high performing teams
- Experience with leveraging technical debt
- Experience with instrumenting product metrics and recognizing the value and limits of data
- Experience with managing stakeholders
