Medical Laboratory Technologist - Chemistry & Hematology

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist - Chemistry & Hematology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking laboratory results for accuracy, performing maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory analyzers and equipment, and ensuring specimen collection and integrity. The ideal candidate will have a Medical laboratory technologist with CSMLS certification, current registration with CMLTO in good standing, and a minimum of two years recent chemistry experience in a hospital laboratory setting.

Requirements

• Medical laboratory technologist with CSMLS certification
• Current registration with CMLTO in good standing
• Minimum two years recent chemistry experience in a hospital laboratory setting
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and maintain high level of productivity, competence and professionalism
• Able to evaluate and analyze information to facilitate continuous improvement of the laboratory process in the interest of quality patient care
• Strong multi-tasking, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proven ability to be a team player; strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Meditech, Paradigm and Microsoft Office an asset
