Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company looking for a Lead Administrator L1 (Contract) with 7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer. The candidate should have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow Platform and development, as well as experience in creating notifications, assignment rules, and service catalogue. The role involves providing adequate support in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects, leading the structural/ architectural design of a platform/ middleware/ database/ back up, and managing the day-to-day operations of the tower.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- Understanding of the business requirements, proposal and implementation of solutions
- Experience in creating notifications, assignment rules, service catalogue
- Experience in third-party integration using REST API
- Scripting knowledge in business rule, client script, script include, UI action, background script and fix script
- Knowledge of ITSM and GRC module that include Audit management, Advanced risk assessment
- Good to have knowledge of Legal Service Delivery
- Experience in leading the structural/ architectural design of a platform/ middleware/ database/ back up
- Ability to conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing the current and future requirements
- Ability to strategize and implement disaster recovery plans and create and implement backup and recovery plans
- Ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the tower
- Ability to troubleshoot any issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop fixes to avoid similar issues
- Ability to plan for and manage upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration functions for own tower
- Ability to review the technical performance of own tower and deploy ways to improve efficiency, fine tune performance and reduce performance challenges
- Ability to develop shift roster for the team to ensure no disruption in the tower
- Ability to create and update SOPs, Data Responsibility Matrices, operations manuals, daily test plans, data architecture guidance etc.
- Ability to provide weekly status reports to the client leadership team, internal stakeholders on database activities w.r.t. progress, updates, status, and next steps
- Ability to leverage technology to develop Service Improvement Plan (SIP) through automation and other initiatives for higher efficiency and effectiveness
- Ability to forecast talent requirements as per the current and future business needs
- Ability to hire adequate and right resources for the team
- Ability to train direct reportees to make right recruitment and selection decisions
- Ability to ensure 100% compliance to Wipro's standards of adequate onboarding and training for team members to enhance capability & effectiveness
- Ability to build an internal talent pool of HiPos and ensure their career progression within the organization
- Ability to promote diversity in leadership positions
- Ability to set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals, and give constructive feedback to direct reports
- Ability to ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented by such programs to their and their levels below
