Senior Construction Manager - Power - EOI

Wood is accepting expressions of interest for a Senior Construction Manager (Power) to join their team, responsible for managing and executing assigned construction projects in accordance with the requirements of the contract and company's operating policies and principles.

Requirements

• Responsible for all aspects of construction management project of large size and complexity.
• Accountable for the overall contract construction effort and commissioning strategy.
• Responsible for supervising, organizing and coordinating head office, site construction and commissioning teams.
• Ensure work pack and material delivery aligns with construction mobilization.
• Provide construction expertise during FEED, Detail Design, in the form of constructability reviews, scope minimization and ensuring safest and most efficient construction methods adopted.
• Actively engages with the other contractors / sub-contractors to ensure seamless delivery at site(s).
• Ensures all Site activities are performed in a safe, environmentally responsible manner with integrity and quality delivering HS&E targets.
• Deliver of site teams to meet Client’s business schedules.
• Delivery of reduced costs at site by continual review of performances and improvements by the site teams.
• Ensure the site construction and commissioning process with regard to the provision and use of corporate and project specific procedures, processes and systems.
• Monitor the competency and training requirements of all construction/ commissioning personnel.
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their area(s) of control.
• Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned discipline / subset of on site construction.
