The Maintenance Supervisor will provide direct supervision of the entire maintenance department crew, coordinating the service and maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds, and ensuring daily reductions in unscheduled downtime in production.
Requirements
- Supervises and assigns work for Maintenance employees
- Ensures work was completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and promptly.
- Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used.
- Transfer equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary
- Ensure all safety, housekeeping, and environmental rules and guidelines are followed.
- Ensure all pertinent data related to maintenance activities are correct and documented accordingly to company and regulatory regulations
- Coordinates or installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related systems in all locations
- Coordinates renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities
- Oversee and inspect outside contractors on any electrical, plumbing, and mechanical projects
- Drive improvements in maintenance performance indicators
- Actively participate in all departmental training and continuous improvement activities
- Adhere to all current SOP’s, procedures, and quality requirements
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned
