Asbestos Project Monitor

Act as the company's asbestos technician representative during asbestos abatements in designated work spaces, following instructions from Project Managers and senior project monitors, and performing additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Requirements

• High school graduate
• 3 yrs relevant work experience
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to work multiple shifts and varying hours, including nights and weekends
• Must have own vehicle and a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass a HAZWOPER physical and be medically able to wear a tight-fitting respirator
• OSHA 10-hr/30-hr Construction Certificate a plus
• Updated Fit Test and Medical Testing documents a plus
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER
• At least two of the following licenses
• NYS DOL Project Monitor
• NYS DOL Asbestos Sampling Technician
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health
