The Lead Geotechnical Engineer will guide complex engineering projects and help shape the future of geotechnical design across Ontario. The role involves business development, contributing to a growing organization that meets client objectives and solves challenging problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university
- Postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- 12+ years of relevant (post-degree) experience working in a consulting engineering environment
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with PEO
- Demonstrated experience related to geotechnical engineering, including business development, analysis and design.
- Extensive working knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Previous experience related to the presentation of technical topics to clients.
- Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
