Join WSP's Ground Engineering team as a Technical Director Geotechnical Engineering in Northern Ontario. Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects, facilitate site investigations, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Registered as Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant (post-degree) working experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on consulting and/or project management
- Strong technical knowledge in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability, and ground improvement techniques
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools
- Strong technical writing, interpersonal communication, and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
- An Ontario Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
- Sense of initiative, attention to detail & team spirit
