Job Description
This Opportunity: We are currently initiating a search for a Senior Construction Inspector for our office located in the Herndon, VA area, to provide inspection services on a rail Major Crossing from Alexandria, VA to Washington, D.C.
Requirements
- Inspect and review work in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Ability to interpret roadway and bridge plans, building plans, specifications, and contracts
- Monitor, observe, and report on field quality control and quality assurance for materials testing activities
- Conduct daily inspection reports and project documentation and/or logs
- Utilize construction management software such as AASHTO's Field Manager, Procore, or Primavera Contract Manager, etc.
- Maintains daily contact with client and contractors to discuss construction activities
