Senior Construction Inspector

We are seeking Senior Construction Inspectors for major long-term highway and bridge projects in the Hampton Roads region. The positions will report to the client site in Norfolk, VA. As a Senior Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for construction oversight, inspections, reviews, and audits of the construction work. You will be part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Requirements

• Provide construction inspections and audits
• Observe and document QC/QA activities to verify compliance with the Quality Management Plan
• Perform Hold Point inspections and Independent Verification inspections and tests
• Focus on quality, construction, and production issues at multiple locations
• Track and document quality, construction, and schedule issues and assist with issues resolution
• Assist with tracking and documenting contract quantities, changes, and delays
• Conduct and document observations on construction as it progresses, including knowledge of construction materials, testing, methods, and processes
• Prepare daily work reports and maintain project documentation
