Job Description
WSP is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join their team in Herndon, VA. The ideal candidate will have 9 years of experience in inspection or highway and/or building construction, a high school degree or equivalent, and various certifications.
Requirements
- Inspect and review work in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Monitor, observe, and report on field quality control and quality assurance
- Conduct'receiving inspections' and create detailed records of contractor's performance and progress
- Utilize construction management software such as Trimble, AASHTO's Field Manager, Procore, or Primavera Contract Manager
- Recognize construction problems and apply standard techniques and procedures to solve the problem
