Job Description
The Director of Human Resources will plan, coordinate, and direct the operations of the Human Resources Department, overseeing hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and administering employee benefits and programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- PRH, SPHR, CEBS, or advanced practice certification preferred
- Minimum of 4 years' experience managing all facets of Human Resources
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to relate well to people
- Good listening skills
- Ability to interact with local governmental agencies
- Multi-task oriented and able to coordinate projects
- Computer operation and WordPerfect experience required
- Experience working with various HRIS programs preferred
