The Proposal Manager acts as key support by facilitating, consulting and guiding a pursuit team through the proposal development process for any client response to a RfX.
Requirements
- Experience in Proposal/Bid Management advantageous
- Knowledge and experience of GPO contract in the US Federal Business
- Knowledge of US Federal business electronic content delivery tools/online Bid Submission Tools
- Ability to manage multiple deals; demonstrate the ability to prioritize and effectively manage meeting schedules and tasks
- Ability to verbally articulate clear direction and provide instruction regarding the Proposal Development process and clearly communicate status, issues and timely updates to key stakeholders
- Ability to clearly write compelling proposals to the client which articulates the Xerox story and responds to clients RFx questions accurately
- Successfully manage and support multiple overlapping proposals, managing version control to final Proposal
- Proven ability to develop relationships at all levels in an organization
- Experience in facilitating cross-functional team meetings
- Effective under pressure, able to lead and coach others in pressure situations
- Experience of the selling cycle of services value propositions at C-level
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, and lead, in a matrix management environment
- Consultative knowledge and usage of databases and Intranet
