Job Description
The Proposal Manager role is a crucial component of the business proposal response process. The Bid Manager manages the creation of winning quality proposal responses for Lexmark's large account and enterprise customers by utilizing corporate information databases and sales support personnel.
Requirements
- Willing to work night shift to support US and/or CAN business hours
- Bachelor's degree or higher; preferably in Business, Communication or Journalism
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Strong English communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Experience in copy editing and technical/business writing is preferred
- Some experience in layout/art direction is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
- Internet savvy, with effective research skills
- Excellent time management, coordination, and communication skills
- Very keen eye for detail; must be proactive, resourceful, and possess a very strong sense of ownership of assigned projects and the entire proposal process
