Job Description
Support Engineer - Bristol: XTX Markets is a leading algorithmic trading firm seeking a Support Engineer to maintain and improve the company's IT platform and cloud applications. The role involves supporting employees in their day-to-day use of computer systems, performing day-to-day operations, and contributing to the global Windows platform. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant technical role and possess solid PowerShell scripting skills, experience with endpoint management tools, and familiarity with Linux command line environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant technical role
- Relevant experience administering Windows environments
- Solid PowerShell scripting skills for automation
- Experience with endpoint management tools: SCCM, Microsoft Intune
- Familiarity with Linux command line environments
- Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and Cisco CLI commands
